This specimen was lot 733 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $4,500. The catalog description[1] noted, "KUTCH: Pragmalji II, 1860-1875, AV 100 kori, Bhuj, 1866/VS1923, light adjustment marks on reverse, a beautiful mint state example, NGC graded MS63." By this point in history, the coin designs had begun to deviate from the imitation of Nawanagar coins. Pragmalji II was the first ruler to acknowledge the British Queen Victoria in his coinage. The coin is dated 1866 AD/VS 1923. Twenty-five and fifty kori (Fr-1278) also exist. This specimen realized 2½ times the catalog value in the SCWC.
