This specimen was lot 30999 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $3,525. The catalog description[1] noted, "Kutch. Pragmalji II gold 50 Kori VS1930 (1873) MS65 NGC, KM-Y18. Well struck and lustrous. A prime quality example of this rapidly disappearing type." By this point in history, the coin designs had begun to deviate from the imitation of Nawanagar coins. Pragmalji II was the first ruler to acknowledge the British Queen Victoria in his coinage. The coin is dated 1873 AD / VS 1930. Gold twenty-five and hundred kori (Fr-1277) also exist.
