This specimen was lot 21121 in Ponterio sale 161 (Chicago, August 2011), where it sold for $4,600. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Kempten. Ducat, 1730. 200th Anniversary - Augsburg Confession. Lustrous and attractive with semi proof like surfaces. NGC MS-62." This one year type is rare and expensive. The city was annexed to Bavaria in 1803.
