This specimen was lot 736 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "JAPAN: Meiji, 1868-1912, AR 20 sen, year 10 (1877), red golden toning, PCGS graded AU53." This type was struck 1873-1905 and most dates are common. The superseding type (KM Y30), issued 1907-11, was 4.05 g, 0.800 fine silver and was the last twenty sen.
