This commemorative honored the tenth anniversary of independence. It is accompanied by a gold twenty dollars (KM 61). The politicians depicted, Alexander Bustamante (1884-1977) and Norman Manley (1893-1969), were both whites in a land demographically 91% black.
Recorded mintage: 42,000 uncirculated plus 33,000 proofs.
