This specimen was lot 33382 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Commonwealth silver Proof Piefort 10 Dollars 1979 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Valcambi mint. A nearly flawless example of this charming issue, attractively designed with a boy playing stickball in front of an outline of the island nation on one side and the arms of Jamaica on the other. Currently, only one example ranks higher in grade from both NGC and PCGS (Lot #37449 of our 2017 Hong Kong Sale 3058 for a hammer of $600)."
Recorded mintage: 20,000 plus the piedforts.
