This specimen was lot 71052 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Jaipur. Rupee, 1949//3. Sawai Jaipur. Man Singh II. NGC AU-58. A silver Nazarana Rupee dated Year 28, or AD 1949. Bright silvery color and right on the cusp of Uncirculated. George VI is mentioned on the obverse." The SCWC lists this type for years 20 thru 28. By 1950, the government of India had stripped all the princes of their sovereignty and the princely coinage ended.
