This specimen was lot 22643 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $646.25. The catalog description^[1] noted, "ITALY. 50 Euro, 2006-R. PCGS PROOF-65 DEEP CAMEO. Runner with torch. Mintage of 5,000 pieces. Struck for the 2006 Olympics." This NCLT is one of a series issued 2005-06 for the Olympic Games.
