This specimen was lot 2889 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $96. The catalog description[1] noted, "ITALY: Vittorio Emanuele II, 1861-1878, AR 50 centesimi, 1863-N, light smoky toning, NGC graded MS62." This type was also struck at Naples in 1867. It is common, along with the Turin and Milan issues.
