Goldberg sale 116, lot 1241

This specimen was lot 1241 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $504. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Israel. 5 New Sheqalim, 1998. Stork and Fir Tree. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by a two new sheqalim (KM 322), a silver new sheqel (KM 320) and a gold new sheqel (KM 321).

Recorded mintage: 615 proofs, Utrecht mint.

Specification: 8.64 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.250 troy oz AGW.
