This specimen was lot 1795 in Goldberg sale 106 (Los Angeles, September 2018), where it sold for $708. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. 500 Lirot, 1975. 25th Anniversary of Israel Bond Program. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by a silver 25 lirot (KM 81). Massive influx of aid from the United States fueled inflation and coinage reforms in 1960, 1980 and 1985.

Recorded mintage: 31,693.

Specification: 20 g, 0.900 fine gold, 30 mm diameter, 0.5787 ounce AGW.
