This specimen was lot 1758 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "Isle of Man. Sovereign, 1975. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Armored equestrian. Brilliant Uncirculated." This is an early product of the Popjoy Mint, which captured the Isle of Man's coinage in the early 1970's and issued hundreds of NCLT's until its closure in 2023. Several mintmarks were used to increase the number of varieties but this example is without. This design was used 1973-82.
