This specimen was lot 33286 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "George III Proof Penny 1786 PR64 Brown PCGS. Engrailed edge variety. Chocolate brown surfaces with localized crimson spotting on both the obverse and reverse, and a laudable degree of detail owing to the Proof striking." This is a Soho mint restrike; circulated specimens exist but are probably outnumbered by restrikes. A variety exists with a plain edge.
