This specimen was lot 57290 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. Shilling, 1951. London Mint. PCGS MS-66." This copper-nickel shilling was struck 1951-68 and was the last issue of this denomination.
Recorded mintage: 2,000,000 plus proofs.
Specification: 5.86 g, copper-nickel, 23.6 mm diameter.
