This specimen was lot 76259 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. 6 Pence, ND (1601-02). London Mint; mm: Star. Elizabeth I. PCGS AU-53. Third Issue. Obverse: Crowned harp; Reverse: Square-topped coat of arms. From the Richard August Collection." The SCWC listings for this issue are confusing; KM 8.1 is listed as having a martlet mintmark yet the photo therein shows a star while KM 8.2 is listed with a star. KM 8.3 has a trefoil mintmark.
