Steve Album sale 38, lot 1352

This specimen was lot 1352 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $510. The catalog description^[1] noted, "IRAQ: Republic, AR dinar, 1979/AH1399, International Year of the Child, blast white luster, mintage of only 5,000 pieces, NGC graded Proof 66 Ultra Cameo, S." This NCLT was accompanied by a nickel 250 fils (KM 144), a gold fifty dinars (KM 166) and a gold hundred dinars (KM 167).

Recorded mintage: 5,000 proofs.

Specification: 31 g, 0.900 fine silver, 40 mm diameter.
