This specimen was lot 46801 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAQ. Fils, AH 1349/1931. London Mint. Faisal I. NGC MS-63 Brown." This type was struck 1931 and 1933 for king Faisal and is not at all common in nice condition. The monarchy lasted 1921-58.
Recorded mintage: 4,000,000 plus proofs.
