This specimen was lot 1465 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "Iran. 1 Pahlevi, SH 1351 (1972). Mohammad Reza Pahlevi. Pop 1; 2 finer, 1 in 65, 1 in 65+. PCGS graded MS-64+." This type was struck SH 1330-1353 and is common. It has the same amount of gold as the British sovereign.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 8.136 g, 0.900 fine gold, .2354 troy oz AGW.
