This specimen was lot 75668 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Shahi Sefid, AH 1335 (1916/17). Tehran Mint. Ahmad Shah. NGC MS-64." This type was struck AH 1333-1339 and 1342 and is listed as inexpensive. A rare variety with the reverse legend "Sahib-al-Zaman" (KM 1048) is recorded for the year. One shahi was fifty dinars.
