Iran AH 1318 50 dinars
This specimen was lot 1134 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$269 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Muzaffar al-Din Shah, 1313-1324 AH (1896-1907). 50 Dinars 1318 AH (1900/1901 AD), Tehran Mint. Copper-Nickel. NGC MS63. Magnificent condition. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 150."
The SCWC lists this type for AH 1318, 1319, 1321, 1326, 1332 and 1337, the latter three dates being posthumous. It accompanied a copper-nickel 100 dinars (KM 962), silver shahi (KM 965), quarter kran (KM 968), 500 dinars (KM 969), 1000 dinars (KM 972) and 2000 dinars (KM 974).
