This specimen was lot 695 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "QAJAR: Fath 'Ali Shah, 1797-1834, AR ¼ riyal, Tabriz, AH1225, presentation type struck with collar, hand-cut reeded edge, cleaned, PCGS graded Unc details." This denomination was also struck at the Iranian mints of Borujerd, Yerevan, Isfahan, Kirman, Kirmanshahan, Mazandaran, Shiraz and Yazd. This type was also struck AH 1224.
