Stack's Bowers September 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 75085

This specimen was lot 75085 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. 1/4 Anna, 1874-(C). Calcutta Mint. Victoria. NGC MS-64 Red. A vibrantly red example with considerable cartwheeling luster." This type was struck 1862, 1874-76.

Recorded mintage: 44,678,000.

Specification: 6.14 g, copper, 25.18 mm diameter.
