This specimen was lot 52335 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Hyderabad. 1/8 Ashrafi, AH 1329 Year 44 (1911). Hyderabad Mint. Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II (under George V as Emperor). NGC MS-65. Fairly RARE and seldom seen, this golden minor emanates from the final year in the reign of Hyderabad's 6th Nizam and offers a rich brilliance and a hue that features some hints of cabernet. A stunning Gem that is surpassed in the NGC census by just two examples." This type was struck 1911 only as Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II died that year.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.

Specification: 1.39 g, 0.910 fine gold.

Catalog reference: Fr-1164; KM-Y41.2.
