The princely state of Hyderabad was one of the last absorbed into the Republic of India in 1948. It was also the largest state and residence of the last remnant of Mughal suzerainty in central India. This type was issued under Mir Mahbub Ali Khan II (AH 1285-1329) in AH 1328 and 1329.
