This specimen was lot 38579 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $900. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Hyderabad. Mohur, AH 1268 Year 12 (1851/2). Nasir-ad-Daula. NGC Unc Details--Reverse Damage, Cleaned." The Indian princely state of Hyderabad was one of the few large enough and wealthy enough to mint an extensive series of gold coins. This type was struck years 6 thru 18, tho not all issues bear regnal dates. The SCWC does not mention a year 12 for AH 1268 but "١٢" is clearly visible on the reverse.
