This specimen was lot 739 in Stack's Coin Galleries sale (New York, October 2010), where it sold for $253. The catalog description[1] noted,

"HUNGARY. Ferencz Jozsef, 1848-1916. 20 Korona, 1892 KB. Kormoczbanya. Standing ruler in Coronation regalia. Rv. Angels support Arms. First date of this decimal series. Bagmarks in fields. Uncirculated."

This type, issued 1892-1915, superseded the eight forint and was about 5% heavier. This date has been restruck.

Recorded mintage: 1,779,000.

Specification: 6.775 g, 0.900 fine gold, .196 troy oz AGW.
