This specimen was lot 6754 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $399.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Ducat Restrike, 1870-KB. PCGS PROOF-67 Secure Holder. Hard flashy surfaces, lightly toned." This type was the last ducat struck for Hungary. Circulation issues are dated 1877-81 and are all rare. This later restrike back dated to 1870 is the only collectible date.

Recorded mintage: unknown but all proof restrikes.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold.
