This specimen was lot 3828 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,149 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Leopold I. 1657-1705. Dukat 1697, NB/PO, Nagybánya. GOLD. Min. gewellt, vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Leopold I, 1657-1705, ducat of 1697, Nagybánya mint. Slightly wavy, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck at the Nagybánya mint in Hungary 1683, 1687, 1691-98.
