This specimen was lot 75017 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 6 Krajczar (Kreuzer), 1667-KB. Kremnitz Mint. Leopold I. NGC MS-65. A pleasing example of the type with bold, detailed strike, soft luster, and almost no toning." This type is listed for 1661, 1667-74 and 1681-82 and is common. The thaler was in the mid-seventeenth century equal to ninety kreuzer, making this denomination one-fifteenth thaler.
