This specimen was lot 1488 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,421 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Ferdinand II. 1592-1618-1637. Reichstaler 1630, NB, Nagybánya. R Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit feiner Patina, min. justiert, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, thaler of 1630, Nagybánya mint. Attractive with nice toning, some adjustment marks, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type of 1630-33, while not rare, is considerably scarcer than the contemporary Kremnitz product (Dav-3129).
