Sincona sale 51, lot 3706

This specimen was lot 3706 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$965 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Matthias, (1608-)1612-1619. Taler 1616 KB, Kremnitz. Selten. Sehr schön. (kingdom of Hungary, Matthias, 1612-19, thaler of 1616, Kremnitz mint. Rare, Very fine.)"

This rare thaler is very similar to Dav-3054 but two small shields are added to the obverse legend and the shield on the reverse has a different shape.
