This specimen was lot 34480 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hungary: Rudolf II Taler 1593-KB AU58 NGC, Kremnitz mint. A stunning example with an overly handsome graphite toning evenly dispersed throughout, very crisp devices for the type, and certainly a rare offering in such a splendid, near mint presentation."
