This specimen was lot 1602 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €3,800 (about US$5,289 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II. 1576-1612. Dukat 1584, KB, Kremnitz. GOLD. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, ducat of 1584, Kremnitz mint. Rare in this quality, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
Friedberg lists this type for 1578-1608. It is the most common Hungarian ducat of Rudolf's reign.
