The catalog description[1] noted, "Hungary: Sigismund (1387-1437) gold Goldgulden ND (1411-1419) MS63 NGC, Buda mint. • S • LADISL | AVS • RЄX, St. Ladislaus, crowned, nimbate, and mantled standing facing, axe in right hand, globus cruciger in left; m-O to either side / +SIGISmVnDI • D • G • R • VnGARIЄ, quadripartite shield with stripes and Bohemian lions. Boldly executed without the least evidence of striking weakness and clearly struck from exceptionally well-polished dies. From the George Hans Cook Collection."
