This specimen was lot 1545 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $285.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONG KONG: Victoria, 1841-1901, AR 5 cents, 1868, a lustrous mint state example! PCGS graded MS61." This type was struck at the shortlived Hong Kong mint 1866-68 and at London and Heaton 1872-1901 and this date is listed as scarce. British coinage for Hong Kong ceased in 1997 when the island was returned to China.
