This specimen was lot 7191 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS. Peso, 1922. Wavy reverse die, typical for this date. Lustrous and attractive obverse. NGC MS-61." This is the last date of a type struck since 1888. None are common, tho this is one of the more available dates. In 1931, the peso was dropped in favor of the lempira and the mintage of gold for circulation ceased.

Specification: 1.61 g, 0.900 fine gold, .046 troy oz AGW.
