This is an early date of a type struck in Honduras 1888-1922. None are common, tho this is one of more available dates. Locally struck, this type is often found crudely made. In 1931, the peso was dropped in favor of the lempira and the mintage of gold for circulation ceased.

Specification: 1.61 g, 0.900 fine gold, .046 troy oz AGW.
