This specimen was lot 45379 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS. Peso, 1881. Tegucigalpa Mint. NGC AU Details--Cleaned." This type was issued in Honduras 1881-83 and usually comes poorly struck. It is much scarcer than the later KM 52, issued 1883-99.
Recorded mintage: 26,000.
Specification: 25 g, 0.900 fine silver, 37 mm diameter.
