One reales were struck intermittently using good silver at Tegucigalpa, Honduras, during 1825-32. Various types of debased silver were issued until 1853. The first specimen shown was lot 8562 in Ponterio sale 153 (Baltimore, March 2010), where it sold for $373.75. The catalog description noted, "HONDURAS. Real, 1830-T.F. Attractive, lightly toned. CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." All are scarce and rare in nice condition.
