This specimen was lot 25490 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Holland. Provincial gold Ducat 1783, MS63 NGC. A pleasing, yet slightly subdued example with matte-like surfaces, generous luster, and instant eye-appeal." This type was struck without change 1702-91 and is priced in the SCWC as a common date. Holland was the largest and wealthiest part of the United Provinces, now the kingdom of the Netherlands.

Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
