This specimen was lot 1735 in Sincona sale 38 (Zürich, May 2017), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,598 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"2 Dukaten 1766. Vorzüglich-FDC. (Netherlands, province of Holland, double ducat of 1766. Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1749-93 and the SCWC prices all dates the same. This specimen realized over double catalog.
