This specimen was lot 929 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$2,842 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HESSEN-KASSEL, LANDGRAFSCHAFT, Wilhelm V. 1627-1637. Reichstaler 1627, Kassel. Porträttaler. R Hübsche Patina, winz. Prägeschwäche, attraktives, sehr schönes Exemplar. (Germany, landgraviate of Hesse-Cassel, William V, 1627-37, portrait thaler of 1627, Cassel mint. Toned, cleaned, attractive, very fine example.)"
