This specimen was lot 931 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $42. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAMBURG: Free Hanseatic City, AR 4 schilling, 1738, AU." This four schilling was one twelfth of a convention thaler (48 schilling). The Hamburg mint is still in operation, striking coinage for the Federal Republic of Germany.
