This specimen was lot 73309 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hamburg. 32 Shilling (2 Mark), 1726-IHL. Karl IV. PCGS EF-45. A short three year type with the titles of Karl IV on the obverse. A seldom offered piece, this example is wholesome with a rich cabinet patina with a great many details visible to the eye without magnification. Tied for the finest certified by PCGS." This type was struck 1726-28. It was first issue of gulden since 1673.

Recorded mintage: 188,000.
