This specimen was lot 4235 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it sold for $18. The catalog description[1] noted, "Guernsey. 8 Doubles, 1885-H. Arms. Reverse: Value and date within wreath. NGC graded MS-63 Red & Brown." This issue was struck at the Heaton mint 1864-1911 for Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. Eight doubles = one British penny.
Recorded mintage: 70,000 plus proofs.
