This specimen was lot 71469 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $60. The catalog description[1] noted, "GUERNSEY. 8 Doubles, 1902-H. Heaton Mint. NGC MS-63 Brown. This attractive Mint State example displays some handsome satiny luster and an overall chocolate brown color that is brightened by touches of red color that alight the surface." This issue was struck at the Heaton mint 1864, 1868, 1874, 1885, 1889, 1893, 1902-03 and 1910-11 for Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. Eight doubles = one British penny.

Recorded mintage: 235,000 plus proofs.
