This specimen was lot 33178 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "George I 5 Lepta 1895-A MS67 PCGS, Paris mint. Flawless steely surfaces catch whirls of cartwheel luster that sharpen already crisp details on this handsome piece. With currently only one specimen outranking the present offering in fineness at PCGS, it is sure to catch the attention of the collector of Greek coins." This type was struck 1894-95 and is common. It was accompanied by ten and twenty lepta.

Recorded mintage: 4,000,000.
