This specimen was lot 22215 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $106. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREECE. 20 Lepta, 1831. Planchet flaws. VERY FINE." This type is listed for 1831 only and, like most of the issues of nineteenth century Greece, is scarce. Despite the substantial mintage, this type is scarce in nice condition. This was issued during the shortlived republic of 1828-31.

Recorded mintage: 2,273,000.
