This specimen was lot 73466 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $268.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Silver 5 Pounds (2 Ounces), 2023. Llantrisant Mint. Charles III. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Myths & Legends Series, Merlin issue. First Releases." This design was also used for a copper nickel version for the masses (KM 2372, 28.28 g, 38.6 mm diameter).
