This specimen was lot 1993 in Goldberg sale 110 (Los Angeles, June 2019), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. 5 Pounds, 2000. Elizabeth II. Queen Mother's Centennial." Another gold five pounds was struck in 2000, featuring the Millennium Dome and the Greenwich Meridian (KM 1006b).

Recorded mintage: 3,147,000 in copper-nickel plus 100,000 in silver plus 3,000 in gold.

Specification: KM-1007b: 39.94 g, 0.917 fine gold, 1.771 ounces AGW, 38.61 mm diameter.
